CORE CHARGES
Certain items require a core charge. A core charge is a deposit placed on your
order that is held until your core is return. We must add a core charge to all
of our exchange program products to insure the OEM part cores will be returned. Our core policy is now designed to make your purchasing easier than ever. Rather than having your credit card charged the core charge, and then waiting for your core charge to be refunded, we are now just holding an
authorization on your purchase. This is how it works. Once your product has shipped, we will/may pre-authorize your Visa or MasterCard for the core charge. This authorization does not actually remove the funds from your card, but rather secures the funds for us for 30 days. Once the core is returned, the authorization will be removed, and your purchase is complete with no
actual funds ever removed from your card*. If the core is not received by us within the 30 day period, the authorization will be processed, and the funds will be removed from your card. At that time, any additional charges will be authorized to your card for a second 30 days. After the next 30 days if the core is not returned, the final charge will be allowed to go through, and we will consider the purchase finalized.
Please Note: The core charge IS NOT the replacement cost of the part. The
replacement cost of the part may be significantly higher. If a core is not
returned you will be charged the replacement cost of the item(s) with any
additional cost occurred to PCS (if any).
Remember cores must be for the same item purchased (i.e.
if you order a factory OEM studded seat, you must return a factory OEM studded
seat.) Cores MUST be
undamaged, and unaltered. Seat returned with damaged skins subject the purchaser
to additional replacement costs, and/or may not be accepted. Please call us if

- It is entirely your responsibility to read and understand our core charge policy, once you place the order you agree to the terms
as stated.
- Once a core charge or any additional charge is processed, any
credit card processing
and handling charges WILL NOT be refunded. These charges are generally about
10% of the actual charge amount. For example if your core charge has been processed for $100, and your core is returned late you will only be refunded $90. This is because PCS is charged by Visa/MC a processing fee for your transaction and they are not refundable to us. Please call us if you have any questions.
*Different banks may handle pre-authorization differently. PCS cannot be held responsible for actions by your financial institution.
